Hello friends of Branding 2.0. My name is Marie Germain and I am Chairman of Brand Revival, the site and events, and the owner of this blog. I have been an advertising/marketing/branding thinker/doer for as long as I can remember. And my passion for the realm never ceases. For a time I lost a little zest. Remember the days when clients wanted results but you knew in your heart you should not/could not offer guarantees? The days when you would breathe a sigh of relief if you gained one market share point or got a half percent response on a direct campaign? Or customers in an aided (primed) telephone surveys would say, “they were likely to purchase a product”? ARRRRRGH! Lordie Lordie! those days are over for me. I make oathe herein never to waste clients’ or audiences’ time with these failed beliefs and ideas. So much money and time has been wasted. This time is indeed anti-deluvian. The slate is clean and growing new life.
Concurrent with my revived passion for brands, I regularly deliver Mindmatching, a full-day teaching neuro-marketing basics for marketing executives and CEOs. I am constantly tweaking for content absorption. Simply no marketing/advertising/sales executive can be without these daily principles in communicating with their customers. I am blessed to be able to claim, no one (other that Academia) in Canada and I suspect in USA, is teaching this. The neuro-marketing practice is rampant among Fortune 500 companies largely because it is scientifically informed. I also coach business leaders, CMOs and CEOs, short-term and long-term, on these new directions and help them understand their customers. This I profoundly enjoy.
